Tulkinnanvaraista sets up an art and music walk in the woods of Luukki on Saturday, 21 November. Eight musicians will present solos and gather together to play Howard Skempton’s Drum No.1, the first piece in the Scratch Orchestra collection Nature Study Notes. All, including children and animals, are welcome to join to listen or participate (*). We will walk about six kilometres in about five hours. (**).

We meet at 11:00 at the parking lot on Vanha Luukintie, right next to bus stop “Luukki”, E7225. A direct bus 345 from Elielinaukio leaves at 10:05.

In case of rain the event will take place on Sat 28 November.

Juhani Räisänen, Juho Laitinen, Mikko Hassinen, Minerva Juolahti, Nanna Ikonen, Timo Tuhkanen, Tuukka Tervo, Viktor Toikkanen

(*) If you wish to take part in Howard Skempton’s Drum No.1, please bring along a drum (of any kind, such as a cardboard box and something to hit it with). The score reads: ”Any number of drums. Introduction of pulse. Continuation of pulse. Deviation through emphasis, decoration, contradiction.”

(**) We will be using paths mostly, but appropriate footwear is nevertheless essential.
